Little Thurrock is located north of the River Thames, 25 mile from London and around 4 miles east of the M25. Little Thurrock used to be a small village on its own, until housing became very popular and the area between Little Thurrock and Grays was connected by residential and other buildings.
At the start of the 19th century, there were only 129 citizens within the village, this amount increased dramatically in the 20th century when Grays and Little Thurrock became a good residential area for commuters going into London.
Little Thurrock is made up of old and new houses, which work together well to create a warm and welcoming area. There is also a large experienced garden centre in the local area of Little Thurrock.
There are also some pleasant green areas and parks which are perfect for a walk or even a jog. There are some brilliant local bus routes that link little Thurrock to the rest of the Borough.
