North Stifford

North Stifford is a traditional English Village situated north of Chafford Hundred and the A13. It has a pub, a church, thatched cottages and a village green, where in summer, cricket is often played. North Stifford consists of a High Road, approximately 1 mile long and it is about 5 miles from the QE2 Bridge. Within North Stifford, there is a pub named “The Dog and Partridge” and a Hotel, “Park Inn”.

The Village hall was gifted to the village and is located on the edge of the village green. There is also a children’s play park which is next to the village hall, and there is also a corner shop, which is a general store and an off licence. North Stifford is also extremely close to Davy down and has excellent bus routes to Lakeside. The residents are very protective of the rural aspect of the Village and, over the years, the modern houses that have been built nestle comfortably between the thatched cottages and other old buildings, complimenting each other. The old and the new existing in harmony, side by side.
